Resilient Children. He is a Fellow of APA Divisions 15 and 16 and recipient of APA Division 16 Senior Scientist Award (2001). Dr. Naglieri worked as a school psychologist in the New York area (1974-1977), obtained his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia (1979), and taught school psychology at Northern Arizona University (1979-1982) and The Ohio State University (1982 to 2000). The author of more than 250 publications, his recent efforts include cognitive assessment, cognitive interventions, SLD eligibility determination and measurement of psychopathology and resilience. He has published a number of tests, including the Cognitive Assessment System (1997), Wechsler Nonverbal Scale of Ability (2003), the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Tests (2003), and Devereux Elementary Student Strength Assessment (2009); and books including Essentials of CAS Assessment (1999), Helping Children Learn (2003), Essentials of Wechsler Nonverbal Assessment (2008), Assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders (2009), and Helping Gifted Children Learn (2009).
